  1. It's really interesting. It tells a lot of the story, but also leaves a lot to the imagination. If I would change one thing it would be to put the table of elements behind the guys because it seems a little bit distracting to me. Almost like the two images are competing. The rest of it is amazing, I would definitely buy this!

    1. One other thing that I would do is to make the four smaller pictures a little faded maybe, because they look a little like they were just pasted on there, I still love it though!

  2. I really like this poster, my friend is a huge fan of breaking bad. I like Jesse and Walter being the focal point of the poster and the design on the RV in the background. The periodic table definitely needs to go though, or be implemented in a different way so it isn't on top of them. The other characters in the top corners also need to go, it feels like they were added in last second. Nice poster regardless

  3. Great poster. I like how you used the main characters as your focal point of your poster. I like the idea of the periodic table but I think it should be behind the characters since it is a little distracting.

  4. this is a nice poster. let me tell you, my mom is obsessed with this show! i might not know that much about it, but i can tell you that your design is pretty good! i like seeing the table of elements placed in front of the characters, although some of them are hard to see because they blend in with the characters..

    nice job!

  5. I think the periodic table is a good touch, but it needs to be behind the characters.

  6. Huge fan of Breaking Bad but I would like the periodic table to be behind the characters. Or you could highlight the elements used in the creation of meth.

  7. I really like how the text looks broken up, and my inner science geek is loving the addition to the elements to the title - though I know little to nothing about this movie (or is it a show?). What I would suggest is maybe moving the periodic table to behind the men, because it looks a little distracting. Also, maybe you could have faded the edges of the top pictures out to sort of look like they are imagery in the sky?

  8. Never really watched the show, but everyone keeps telling me to watch. A few things I might change though would be to put the periodic table behind the them instead of in front since you want them to stick out more, but still tell a story of the show. The Breaking Bad text is really good and fits perfect and even the characters fit perfectly where even the ones up top too. Just by looking at this maybe I will start watching it.

  9. I think this design is really complex and over all works very well. The size and location of the two main figures strongly activates the composition. Even small things like the tops of the beer bottles draw our eyes up and towards their faces. The way the poster is set up gives us an outline of what importance the characters have to the story. It is obvious that Jesse and Walt are the two main characters, while the others, above, are secondary, but hanging over the story. Everyone in the design is looking right at the viewer, creating somewhat of an intense feeling, giving us a sense of the tone of the show. The periodic table of the elements is a wonderful addition, without that, I think we would be missing a layer of complexity over the entire thing. I think the weight of the lines is great, because it is obvious enough to see, but doesn’t obstruct. It’s a thin veil over the whole scene. If you were to improve anything, I say you could still play with the size of the “Breaking Bad” text. Something that jumps out a lot is the contrast between the blue sky and the brown tones of the secondary characters’ photos. I think this is a little too harsh and too much of a focal point. You could try converting these photos to a more subtle color or create some transparency with them and the sky layer, perhaps.

  10. Having a hard time being objective here, loved the show a lot. The overlay of the periodic table is a great element, both thematically and graphically. It continues to tie the two figures together. At the same time I feel like the poster is a little busy. I'm not sure the black and white head shots are necessary.

  11. if I make my eyes squint it somewhat reminds me TD bank. I would prefer to see periodic table kind of feeling rather than actual periodic table.

  12. I like the idea but it seems more fitting to be a calender. But you make it work. The table gets a little difficult to read at times

  13. I am a HUGE fan of Breaking Bad, and this poster does show it's tribute to it. However, the photo's of the characters in the top corners are a but distracting b.c of the background behind them. Maybe if you crop the background off and fade their faces away, it might look pretty cool. Still, this is awesome.
