Logo Design ideas

When it comes to the MTV logo, it is very well known around the globe.  After searching the different images on google, the logo almost always includes the words "Music Television" underneath it. Personally, I think it would look nice getting rid of the words and adding a speaker into the large open space on the left side of the "M" to imply that it stands for music.

The Gillette logo is pretty plain and doesn't really show what the company is trying to sell.  Obviously they are well known and it has worked out for them thus far, but the idea of changing one of the "L's" into a razor or maybe putting a razor between the space inside of the "L's" seems like a pretty good idea.  Although this is not all they sell, the logo will be more detailed to show the reader what types of products they are producing.

The Cannon company could make use of the space inside the "A" or the "O" by putting a camera or the lens of a camera to portray what type of product they are looking to sell.  It would be better to keep it simple so it showed up the way it looks at a normal size on one of their products using smaller font.

Duracell could look to do the same type of thing as Gillette by putting a battery inside the U or replacing the "L's" with a couple batteries.  They also might consider using one of their bigger batteries to represent both "L's" since they are next to each other.

Introduction to CGR-111

 Name: Matthew (Matt) DiNote

 Email: Matthew.DiNote241@students.camdencc.edu

 Major: Computer Graphics

What is your computer experience: I used to have a family PC when I was younger.  When I started college, I got my first personal laptop, a MacBook Pro.

Do you have experience with Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator? (None, beginner, intermediate, advanced...etc.) Please be specific: I have used these programs in the past but not with any purpose so I don't remember much of anything.

What do you hope to learn from taking this class?
I hope to learn how to make a creative and elaborate design that many viewers will be impressed by.  I also hope to learn more about computers and how the different hardware and software materials that I'm not familiar with work.

I have read and understand the course policies outlined in the syllabus for this class. (sign by typing your name and the date below):
